在西方，圣诞节是很重要的节日，等同于春节对于我们中国人的重要性。圣诞节到元旦也是他们的重要假期，就像我们的春节黄金周一样。

圣诞节最重要的事有几件，一是家庭团聚，二是圣诞布置，还有就是圣诞大购物！

今天Jessie老师为大家准备了一段关于圣诞家庭团聚的对话，来感受一下西方的圣诞团聚的习俗吧！顺便学习一些跟圣诞有关的表达以及一些常用的句型。

Christmas Reunion

A: What's your plan for the Christmas holidays?

B: I'm going to attend a family gathering. What about you?

A: I am, too. I missed it last year because I traveled to Italy.

B: I've always wanted to take a trip during the Christmas holidays and celebrate Christmas somewhere else with different atmosphere.

A: What's holding you back?

B: My parents always ask me to go home during Christmas. They always say that Christmas is the time to get together with family. If I want to travel, I should do it in the summer.

A: Why not ask your parents to go with you? Who knows if they're interested.

B: Hey, that's a good idea! But there'’s one thing that I'll miss if I spend Christmas abroad.

A: What's that?

B: I enjoy exchanging Christmas gifts with my extended family, especially with my nieces and nephews. Christmas is not perfect without that ritual.

A: What is the best Christmas present you have ever gotten?

B: Last year, I got asmart watch from my dad. It's a very cool gadget and so far, that's the best present.

A：你圣诞假期有什么计划？

B：我要参加家庭聚会。你呢？

A：我也是。去年我去意大利旅行了，错过了家庭团聚。

B：我总是想在圣诞假期去旅行，在其他地方庆祝圣诞，感受不一样的气氛。

A：是什么阻止了你呢？

B：我爸爸妈妈总是叫我圣诞节回家。他们老是说，圣诞节是阖家团聚的日子。如果我要去旅行，就应该夏天去。

A：为什么为叫上你父母跟你一块去呢？没准他们也有兴趣呢。

B：嗨，这主意不错。但是如果我在国外过圣诞的话，有件事我就会错过。

A：是什么呢？

B：我喜欢跟我的一大家子人互换圣诞礼物，尤其是跟我的侄子侄女们。不能互换礼物的话，圣诞就不完美了。

A：你得到过的最好的圣诞礼物是什么啊？

B：去年，我爸给了我一块很时髦的表，那是个很酷的玩意儿。那是我至今为止得到的最好的礼物。
