一种传说中的长得像马, 头上有一只尖角的动物, 尖角据说有治愈效果
uni表示单个的, 比如unicycle独轮车
咦, corn不是玉米嘛? 我去查了一下, 原来unicorn出自拉丁文unicornis

在拉丁文中cornis表示horn
补充一下, 我们现在谈论科技创业公司时, 把估值超过十亿美金(1 billion)的公司称为独角兽(unicorn)

sustain=维持
sustain means to support something or keep it going

a body of my own=my own body
一般有生命的所有格用’s, 但并非绝对
这里选择用of结构表示所有格, 我觉得是为了把body放到前边强调它

注意这里是a, 而不是the, 听起来无法分辨
要靠语法分辨, a body of my own表示一具躯体, 有可能是任何一具躯体
注意把这个用法和之前哈利, 罗恩, 赫敏在下巫师棋的时候说的那句There’s the door, 是the而非a, 进行对比体会

这句话中的can, cannot, can
你会发现这里重读了这几个词
一般的, can do sth重读do  
但是有例外, 比如当前后句中的can, cannot构成呼应时
这时候会选择重读这些相互呼应的词
