1997  毕业于上海华东师范大学美术系油画专业，获学士学位
2007  毕业于南京艺术学院美术系油画专业，获硕士学位
现居苏州，现为苏州大学艺术学院副院长、硕士生导师，中国美术家协会会员，江苏省油画学会理事

前几年，王鹭在苏州、华东师大举办了两场“安步当歌”双人展，其架上作品具备了以下几个显著特点：湛深的学院功力，辅助造型的科学方法论，称之扎实的“即景写生”基础；色彩绚丽，犹同于三月江南阡陌之道，绽放着鲜嫩的清丽，怡人心脾；笔触和意趣收放自如、晕染着一层自由的诗性。
