17岁时，弗朗西斯卷入了一场工业事故，几乎夺去了他的生命。经过一年多的住院和康复治疗，弗朗西斯多年来一直困惑于人生该走什么样的道路，有一天弗朗西斯母亲出于对儿子的关心，建议他试试画画，起初弗朗西斯认为这很傻，但慢慢地开始享受这项活动。

At the age of 17, Francis was involved in an industrial accident that almost took his life. After more than a year of hospitalization and rehabilitation, Francis has been puzzled about what kind of road he should take in his life for many years.

One day, out of concern for his son, Francis's mother suggested that he try painting. At first, Francis thought it was silly, but slowly began to enjoy the activity.

At first, he started from his thoughts. After his father suggested that he display some of his works in an exhibition around Stephen Green in Dublin, Francis's works began to attract a lot of attention.

After four years of intermittent study at the Florence Academy of fine arts and a period of study in Norway with the master OD nedrum, he returned to Dublin,

where he was a full-time painter, attracted great attention in the art world, collected and exhibited internationally, and won many highly recognized awards.
