It’s holiday, and I’m literally exhausted and craving all delicious junk food. Even though I clearly know that it is bad for our health. So to counteract this potential negative consequence, I’ve decided to changed my diet. So the first thing I did was reducing carb intake, you know, I cut in half the amount of carbs that I was eating and tried to eat more veges.

I have to admit it, following a strict diet and eating less is way harder than it seems, but overeating is bad, and should be avoided. We should check the reasons that are leading one to overeat and solve it. In my case, one sneaky meal wouldn’t been enough, even though I clearly know that periodic cycles of a low-calorie diet that mimicked fasting could improve metabolic, immune, and many other functions. Fasting, in which food isn’t consumed, represents the extreme form of restriction. Fasting for 2 or more days, however, is hard for people to stick to, so we should develop a suitable complex diet that triggers the same effects for ourselves.
