《The cat and the mouse》是牛津上海版4BM2U2第三课时的一个故事,讲述的是一只肥猫正在篮子里睡大觉,一只饿极了的小老鼠看见了肥猫旁边的猫粮,冒着生命危险偷吃了猫粮,被吵醒的肥猫勃然大怒,追着老鼠发誓要吃了它。可是灵活的小老鼠迅速爬到了门框上,不会爬门的肥猫只能在下面恨得直跳脚。小老鼠又跳下了门飞快地跑了起来,肥猫追得气喘吁吁,最后只能看着老鼠钻进了老鼠洞的故事。

I want to eat it.S2: Look, a large bowl of cat food. (眼睛亮了)。It smell(smells) nice. I want to eat the cat food.(闭着眼睛感受着猫粮的美味,蹑手蹑脚地走过去偷吃猫食)。S2: I’m so hungry. I want to eat fish. I want to eat rice. (学生捂着肚子很饿)。Wow, I see the food. Haha, the cat is sleeping in the basket. I can eat the food....
图2在图1学生活灵活现的表演中,紧接着引导学生进行图2的输出。T: What will the mouse say?S1: The cat food is so yummy. I like it.S2: I eat the delicious food, I’m full now....在图3-6中,主要是小老鼠与猫的斗智斗勇。Where is the mouse / cat?What does the mouse / cat do?How does the mouse / cat feel?我以这些问题为导向,帮助孩子们进行语言输出。在语言输出时,要求学生配上丰富的表情和肢体语言,在边说边演绎中感受猫和老鼠的心情。随着故事情节的深入,学生的探究欲望逐步激发,语言表达的欲望也愈加强烈。在对故事内容的逐步理解中,进一步挖掘老鼠和猫的内心,进而为深入理解和掌握文本打好了扎实的基础。随着演绎的深入,极大地调动了学生的学习热情,几个英语基础比较弱的孩子也忍不住举起了手,参与到了故事的拓展中来。同时,在演绎中满足了学生表达自己思想的愿望,提高了学生的语言运用能力,学生乐于参与,勇于表现。课后,布置了学生将演绎的故事以对话的形式写了下来,一起来看看肥猫和那只老鼠的故事吧!(单击图片,双指放大,看得更清楚!))
