坚持立场或坚持己见，用英语怎么表达

人无主见，必定随波逐流（go with the flow），这是一种有潜在风险的性格，为什么这样说呢？若随的波是风平浪静，那么恭喜你随对了，那万一随的波是波涛汹涌呢，结果可想而知，所以我们都应该有自己的主见或立场，那么“坚持立场”用英语怎么表达呢？

“坚持立场”用英语是 stand one's ground 或 hold one's ground，stand 或 hold 都有”持有“的意思，例如：

Where do you stand on private education?

你对民办教育持什么观点？

He holds strange views on education.

他对教育的看法不同寻常。

但 ground 没有”立场“的意思，所以它们是一个习语，比喻不退却、拒绝改变主意或坚守阵地等，例如：

1. We stood our ground on the footpath, and then eventually, all the cows moved away.

我们坚持站在人行道上，最后，所有的牛都走开了。

2. Moira's son wanted her to move in with him after her husband died, but she held her ground and stayed where she was.
