The Little Prince: All adults, have ever been children

The Little Prince is a fairy tale written for adults. The melancholy boy, the rose with thorns, the fox waiting for love, the elephant within boa’s stomach, the box filled with sheep, several sunsets on the B12 asteroid…Those graceful words with a touch of sadness gradually extend like a damp mist, allowing us to savor the innocent and follow our ego that have already gone away.

Today, we are going to go over the little prince who touched us in past years.

To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world。

Flowers are so inconsistent! But I was too young to know how to love her…

It’s the time you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important.

She did not want him to see her crying. She was such a proud flower…

You know — one loves the sunset, when one is so sad…

All men have his or her stars, with different meaning for different people. For the travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For the scholars, they are problems to be solved.. For my businessman they were wealth. But all these stars are silent. You – you alone– will understand the different meanings of the stars.

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eyes。

But no grown-ups will ever understand that this is a matter of so much importance!

Each time I read "The Little Prince", I was moved by such a view angle of the world. In real life, we are busy, noisy, and restless, never hearing the sincere whisper from the depth of our soul.Time flies, childhood went away. We grew up, years take memory away and also erode the innocence has ever had. When people are addicted to the flashy world and focus on the law of comparative advantage, being regardless of the shackles of the soul, have they ever experience the nothingness of life……

No matter how old you are this year, please remember that, all adults, have ever been children.
