英语中的反身代词

反身代词是以 -self 或-selves 结尾的词，当句子的主语和宾语相同时使用。它们可以充当宾语或间接宾语。

一、人称代词表

还有一个 oneself.

二、若一个动作中的主语和宾语是同一个人，则使用反身代词作直接宾语、间接宾语或使用反身代词强调说话者做某事，例如：

1、直接宾语：

I cut myself shaving.

我刮胡子时割伤了自己。

We dried ourselves after swimming.

我们游泳后擦干身子。

You will have to drive yourself to work today.

你今天得自己开车去上班。

2、间接宾语：

I made myself a pizza.

我给自己做了个披萨。

解析：相当于 I made a pizza for myself，它跟 I made a pizza myself （我亲自做了个披萨）意思不一样。

Cynthia pours a cup of tea for herself every morning.

辛西娅每天早上都为自己倒杯茶。

You people need to hurry and get yourselves some water before the race.

你们这些人在比赛前得赶紧去拿点水来。

3、强调说话者做某事

Jack made his supper himself.

杰克自己做了晚饭。

I'll speak to her myself.

我要亲自去跟她说。

I closed the store on Saturday myself.

1. amuse

I'm sure I'll be able to amuse myself for a few hours.

2. blame

3. cut

4. dry

四、通常为自己做的事情的动词之后不使用反身代词，例如洗衣服、刮胡子、穿衣服等：

以下例句是错误的：

She washed herself in cold water.

她用冷水洗澡。

He always shaves himself before going to work.

他上班前总是刮胡子。

Susan dressed herself and got ready to go out.

苏珊穿好衣服准备出去。

但是当表示强调时，这些动词后面才用反身代词，例如：

He’s old enough to wash himself.

他大到可以自己洗衣服了。

Susan dressed herself despite feeling ill.

苏珊尽管感到不舒服，但还是穿好了衣服。

五、使用反身代词容易犯错的几个地方

1、在复合主语中不能使用反身代词，例如：

安德鲁和我将主持今天的会议。

错误：Andrew and myself will conduct today’s meeting.

解析：当去掉 Andrew 时，会发现主语是 myself，反身代词不能作主语，所以是错误的。

正确：Andrew and I will conduct today’s meeting.

2、错用反身代词作间接宾语，例如：

你可以在星期五之前把费用交给马丁先生或我。

错误：You may submit your expenses to Mr. Martin or myself before Friday.

解析：此句的主语是 you，跟间接宾语 myself 不是同一个人。

正确：You may submit your expenses to Mr. Martin or me before Friday.
