不是一切大树，
　　都被暴风折断；
　　不是一切种子，
　　都找不到生根的土壤；
　　不是一切真情，
　　都流失在人心的沙漠里；
　　不是一切梦想，
　　都甘愿被折掉翅膀。

　　都像你说的那样！

Not all big trees

Would be broken by the storms.
Not all seeds

Couldn’t find the soil to stretch their roots.
Not all real emotions

Would be washed away in the sands of men’s hearts.
Not all dreams

Are willing to be removed of wings.
No, not all

Are as what you say!

不是一切火焰，
　　都只燃烧自己
　　而不把别人照亮；
　　不是一切星星，
　　都仅指示黑暗
　　而不报告曙光；
　　不是一切歌声，
　　都只掠过耳旁
　　而不留在心上。
　　不，不是一切
　　都像你说的那样！

Not all flames burn themselves

Without illuminating others.
Not all stars are signifying darkness

Without heralding daybreaks.
Not all songs just go by your ears

Without leaving a sign on your minds.

Are as what you say!

不是一切呼吁都没有回响；
　　不是一切损失都无法补偿；
　　不是一切深渊都是灭亡；
　　不是一切灭亡都覆盖在弱者头上；
　　不是一切心灵
　　都可以踩在脚下，烂在泥里；
　　不是一切后果
　　都是眼泪血印，而不展现欢容。

Not all calls are without echoes;
Not all losses are with no compensations.
Not all abysses lead to death;
Not all ruination happens only to the weak ones.
  Not all souls will be trodden underfoot and perished in the soil.
Not all endings

Shall be faced with tears and bloodstain rather than with a smiling face.

一切的现在都孕育着未来，
　　未来的一切都生长于它的昨天。
　　希望，而且为它斗争，
　　请把这一切放在你的肩上。

All things at present are creating their tomorrows,
 While all things in future are grown out of their pasts.
Hope and fight for it,
 And place all these on your shoulders.
